The QR Codes feature lets you generate scannable QR codes that direct visitors to any URL — a funnel page, website, form, booking calendar, or external site. You can also track scan counts to measure the effectiveness of your offline marketing.

Creating a QR code

1

Navigate to Sites > QR Codes

Click Sites in the left sidebar, then select QR Codes. Click + New QR Code.
2

Enter the destination URL

Paste the URL you want the QR code to point to. This can be:
  • A HoopAI funnel or landing page
  • A calendar booking link
  • A form embed page
  • Any external URL
3

Customize the QR code

  • Foreground color — the color of the QR code pattern (default is black)
  • Background color — the color behind the pattern (default is white)
  • Logo — optionally overlay your logo in the center of the QR code
  • Size — select the output resolution for print or screen use
4

Download or embed

  • Download PNG — for print materials (business cards, flyers, posters, packaging)
  • Download SVG — for scalable vector use in design files
  • Copy embed code — to place the QR code image directly on a web page

Dynamic vs static QR codes

The HoopAI Platform generates dynamic QR codes. This means the QR code image itself never changes, but the destination URL can be updated at any time from the platform. This is critical for printed materials — if the destination URL changes, you update it in the platform and all existing printed QR codes automatically redirect to the new URL.

QR code use cases

Use caseHow
Business cardsLink to a booking page or contact form
Flyers and postersLink to a special offer landing page
Product packagingLink to a product registration form or tutorial
Event signageLink to an event registration page
Restaurant tablesLink to a digital menu or review request page

QR code element in the page builder

You can also embed QR codes directly on funnel and website pages using the QR Code Element in the page builder. This is useful for:
  • Driving visitors from a web page to a mobile app
  • Sharing a page URL in a printable format on the page itself
  • Linking to a vCard or contact details download

Tracking scans

Each QR code created in the platform tracks:
  • Total scans — the cumulative number of times the code has been scanned
  • Unique scans — the number of distinct devices that scanned the code
  • Scan over time — a time-series chart showing scan volume by day
Use scan data to measure the ROI of offline marketing campaigns and compare QR codes placed in different locations.
Always test your QR code before printing by scanning it with multiple devices. Verify that it loads quickly and the destination page is mobile-optimized, since most QR code scans happen on smartphones.
