GoKollab is a discovery marketplace where you can promote your communities to new audiences and allow people to discover your content. The Hoop platform integrates directly with GoKollab so you can publish and manage listings without leaving the platform.

What is GoKollab?

GoKollab is an online marketplace where people search for communities and courses to join. When you list your community or course on GoKollab, it appears in search results for relevant topics, giving you exposure to people who are actively looking for what you offer.

Integrating Stripe with GoKollab

Before listing paid content on GoKollab, connect your Stripe account:

Navigate to GoKollab Marketplace

Click Memberships and Communities in the left sidebar, then select GoKollab Marketplace.

Connect Stripe

In the GoKollab Marketplace settings, click Connect Stripe and follow the authentication flow to link your Stripe account to GoKollab.

Confirm the connection

Once connected, your Stripe account is ready to accept payments from GoKollab visitors who purchase access to your paid communities or courses.

Listing a course on GoKollab

Navigate to GoKollab Marketplace

Click Memberships and Communities in the left sidebar, then select GoKollab Marketplace.

Connect your GoKollab account

If not already connected, click Connect GoKollab Account and follow the authentication flow.

Add a course to list

Click the Add Course button to begin the listing process.

Select a course to list

Choose the course from your Hoop account that you want to list. The course must be published in your Client Portal before it can be listed.

Fill in the marketplace listing

Complete the listing details:
  • Title — the public name for your course on GoKollab
  • Description — a compelling description of who the course is for and what value students get
  • Category and tags — help potential students discover your listing via search filters
  • Cover image — a high-quality image representing your course
  • Pricing — free, paid, or trial access based on your offer settings

Submit for review

Click Submit Listing. GoKollab reviews new listings before publishing.

Manage your listing

Once approved, your listing is live on GoKollab. Update the description, images, and pricing at any time from the GoKollab Marketplace tab.

Listing a community on GoKollab

The process for listing a community is the same as for a course. Choose Community as the listing type and select the community group from your Hoop account.

How discovery works on GoKollab

GoKollab visitors browse and search by:
  • Category — e.g. Business, Health & Wellness, Marketing, Technology
  • Price — free, paid, or trial available
  • Rating — community and course ratings from GoKollab members
  • Keywords — full-text search of your listing title and description

Tracking GoKollab traffic

When a GoKollab visitor clicks through to your community or course and joins, they appear as a new contact in your Hoop account. Use the Lead Source field on the contact record to identify GoKollab traffic and track the ROI of your marketplace listing.
Write your GoKollab listing description from the perspective of a potential member — focus on the transformation and outcomes they will achieve, not the features of your community or course.
GoKollab is an independent platform. Listing terms, fees, and approval criteria are set by GoKollab and are separate from your Hoop subscription.

Frequently asked questions

You only need a Stripe account if you are listing paid content. Free communities and courses can be listed without a Stripe connection. For paid listings, connect your Stripe account in the GoKollab Marketplace settings before submitting the listing.
GoKollab’s listing terms, fees, and approval criteria are set by GoKollab independently of your Hoop subscription. Check the GoKollab platform directly for the current fee structure on paid listings.
GoKollab reviews new listings before they go live. Review timelines are set by GoKollab. You can track the status of your submission from the GoKollab Marketplace tab inside Hoop.
Yes. You can list any number of published courses and community groups. Each listing is submitted separately. Use the Add Course button for course listings and select Community as the listing type for community groups.
When a GoKollab visitor purchases or joins your content, they are created as a new contact in your Hoop CRM. Check the Lead Source field on the contact record to identify traffic that originated from GoKollab and measure the ROI of your marketplace listings.
Yes. From the GoKollab Marketplace tab inside Hoop, select the active listing and edit the title, description, cover image, category, tags, or pricing at any time. Changes may be subject to a brief re-review by GoKollab before going live.
