Frequently asked questions
What is a dynamic QR code and why does it matter?
What is a dynamic QR code and why does it matter?
A dynamic QR code stores a short redirect URL internally. The platform resolves that URL to the real destination at scan time. This means you can update the destination — fix a typo, redirect to a new campaign page, or swap seasonal content — without generating a new code or reprinting materials. All HoopAI QR codes are dynamic by default.
Can I update the destination of a code after it has been printed?
Can I update the destination of a code after it has been printed?
Yes. Because all codes are dynamic, you can edit the destination in your QR code library at any time. The printed code continues to work and will resolve to the new destination immediately after saving.
What file formats can I download QR codes in?
What file formats can I download QR codes in?
You can export codes as PNG for digital use, SVG for scalable vector graphics, or PDF for print production. For professional printing, use SVG or a high-resolution PDF to avoid pixelation at large sizes.
How do I generate a large number of QR codes at once?
How do I generate a large number of QR codes at once?
Use the importing QR codes feature. Prepare a CSV file with the destinations and any metadata for each code, then upload it. The platform generates all codes in bulk and adds them to your library.
Can I add a QR code directly to a website or funnel page?
Can I add a QR code directly to a website or funnel page?
Yes. The QR code in page builder feature lets you add a QR code element to any page in the drag-and-drop builder. Select the code from your library and it renders as a scannable image on the published page.
How do review QR codes work?
How do review QR codes work?
A review QR code links directly to your Google review page (or another review platform). When a customer scans the code, they land on your review submission page with minimal friction. Place the code at your point of sale, on receipts, or in follow-up materials to increase review volume.
