Post-import checklist

After importing from any platform, complete these steps:
1

Review course structure

Open each imported course and verify that modules and lessons are in the correct order. Adjust sequencing if needed.
2

Check media files

Verify that images, videos, and downloadable files transferred correctly. Re-upload any missing media.
3

Create offers

Set up pricing offers for your courses in Memberships and Communities > Courses > Offers. Imported courses do not automatically have pricing attached.
4

Re-connect payment gateway

Ensure Stripe (or your preferred gateway) is connected in Settings > Payments so members can purchase.
5

Notify existing members

Send an email to imported members with their new login credentials and instructions for accessing the new platform.
6

Set up automations

Recreate any enrollment, welcome, or drip automations in the HoopAI workflow builder.
Member payment subscriptions do not transfer between platforms. Existing subscribers must re-enter their payment details on your new HoopAI checkout. Plan the transition carefully to avoid billing disruptions.
Run both platforms in parallel for 2-4 weeks during migration. Give existing members access to HoopAI while keeping the old platform active, then shut down the old platform once all members have transitioned.
