Suppress a confirmed duplicate
Click Suppress, then Confirm. The status changes to “Processing Suppression.”

Dismiss a false positive
If the listing is NOT a duplicate, click Not a Duplicate, then Confirm. The listing is removed from the suppression queue.
Revisit the Duplicate Suppression tab monthly since automated scans refresh regularly. Consistent review keeps your online presence clean and optimized.
Some publishers have strict data validation requirements — for example, character limits on business names, required phone number formats, or mandatory website fields. Review the error details shown next to the publisher and update your listing information to match the publisher’s requirements.
Update has been syncing for more than 48 hours
Use Request Force Sync at either the entity or publisher level to re-submit the update with priority status. If the issue persists after 48 additional hours, contact HoopAI support.
Address validation failed
Ensure your business address is formatted to match official postal standards. Use the full street address including suite or unit numbers. Service-area businesses without a public address can enable Hide Business Address and define service areas instead.
Phone number format rejected
Format your phone number with the country code prefix (e.g., +1 for US numbers). Remove any extensions from the primary phone number field.
Yes. The Listings feature is powered by Yext, which syncs your business information to major directories and review sites. An active Yext entity is required for the Listings section to function. Contact your platform administrator to enable it.
How long does it take for listing updates to appear on directories?
Most updates appear within 24–72 hours, though some publishers take longer. Use Request Force Sync to prioritize a pending update. Final publishing time ultimately depends on each individual publisher’s processing schedule.
Will cancelling Yext remove my business info from directories?
No. Cancelling your Yext subscription stops active management and updates, but existing listing information already published on directories remains. Publishers do not automatically remove listings when you unsubscribe.
How does duplicate suppression work?
HoopAI runs automated monthly scans across major directories to identify listings that share the same business name, address, and phone number (NAP) as your active listing. Flagged duplicates are presented for your review — you can suppress confirmed duplicates or dismiss false positives. Suppression requests are sent to the publisher and typically resolve within 24 hours to one week.
Can I manage listings for multiple business locations?
Yes. Click Create Entity for each business location. Each entity has its own profile, sync status, analytics, and duplicate suppression queue. Switch between entities from the main Listings dashboard.
What image formats are supported for listings media?
Supported formats are PNG, JPEG, WEBP, and static GIFs (no animated GIFs). Maximum file size is 5MB. Business logos must maintain a 1:1 aspect ratio. Use the built-in editor for cropping, mirroring, and rotating after upload.
What is the Incomplete Business Data widget?
This widget highlights entities that are missing key fields such as phone number, website, description, or hours. Completing these fields improves your visibility in local search results and ensures customers have accurate contact information.
