How to set up auto follow-up for missed calls

Navigate to Business Info settings

Go to Settings > Business Info (sometimes labeled Business Profile).

Enable Missed Call Text Back

Scroll to the Missed Call Text Back section at the bottom right of the screen. Toggle the feature on.

Customize the message

Write your automatic text back message. Keep it friendly and professional. You can:
  • Use custom fields (e.g., {{business.name}}) to personalize the message with your business name
  • Include a question to gather more context from the lead (e.g., “Hi! We missed your call. What can we help you with today?”)
  • Add a booking link to let the caller schedule a call or appointment directly

Save your settings

Click Save. The feature is now active and will fire automatically whenever a call goes unanswered on your registered business number.

For more advanced automation, create a workflow triggered by the Missed Call event. After the initial text back, you can:
