The Conversations section in the HoopAI mobile app is your unified inbox for all contact communications — SMS, email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and more. Everything you can do in the desktop Conversations tab is available on mobile.

Accessing conversations

Open the mobile app and tap the Conversations icon in the bottom navigation bar.

Searching and filtering

Search — tap the search bar at the top to find a conversation by contact name, email address, or phone number. Inboxes — choose which inbox to view:
  • Team inbox — all conversations shared across your team
  • My inbox — conversations assigned to you personally
  • Internal — messages sent between team members
Filters — tap the filter icon to refine conversations by read status, channel, assigned user, tags, and more. Frequently used filters can be saved as quick filters for one-tap access.

Starting a new conversation

Tap the + icon to start a new outbound conversation. Choose from:
  • SMS — send a text message
  • Email — compose an email
  • Group chat — create a group SMS
  • Internal notification — send an internal message to a team member

Conversation actions

Swipe actions

Swipe left on a conversation card to quickly:
  • Star the conversation for priority follow-up
  • Enable DND (Do Not Disturb) for the contact
  • Tap More for additional actions: archive, mark as unread, view contact info, or delete

Bulk actions

Press and hold a conversation card to enter multi-select mode. Tap additional conversations to add them to your selection, then use the action bar at the bottom to apply bulk changes (archive, mark read, assign, etc.).

Inside a conversation

Within an open conversation card, tap Actions to access:
  • Schedule an appointment
  • Create an opportunity
  • Send a review request
  • View contact activity
  • Add an internal comment
  • Delete the conversation

Sending messages

Tap the text box to open the message composer. From here you can:
  • Attach media — tap the + icon to select files from your device, take a photo, request payment, or insert custom values and trigger links
  • Schedule — tap the send options to schedule your message for a future time
  • Send instantly — tap the send button to deliver immediately
  • WhatsApp templates — in WhatsApp conversations, select a pre-approved interactive template with CTA buttons

Channel switching

Use the channel selector to switch between available messaging channels for the contact (SMS, email, WhatsApp, etc.) within the same conversation thread.

Edit email snippets

You can create and edit email snippets on mobile to save time on repeated responses. Access snippets from the composition toolbar when writing an email.
