Your HoopAI subscription controls which features you have access to, how many contacts and users you can have, and what your monthly base cost is. You can view and manage your subscription at any time from within your account settings.

View your current plan

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Your current plan, billing cycle (monthly or annual), and next renewal date are shown at the top of the page

Upgrade your plan

Open subscription settings

Go to Settings → Billing and click Want to modify or cancel your subscription?

Click Upgrade

In the popup that appears, click the Upgrade button.

Choose your plan and billing cycle

Review the available plans. Use the toggle at the top to switch between Monthly and Annual billing. Annual billing saves 15–17% compared to monthly.

Confirm and pay

Click Upgrade Now on your selected plan, then click Pay & Subscribe to confirm. Your new plan activates immediately.
If you upgrade mid-cycle, you are charged immediately for the new plan. A prorated credit for unused time on your previous plan is applied automatically to your account.

Downgrade your plan

Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle — not immediately. You continue on your current plan until the cycle ends.

Open subscription settings

Go to Settings → Billing and click Want to modify or cancel your subscription?

Select a lower plan

Choose the plan you want to move to and click Downgrade.

Confirm

Review the change. Your downgrade will take effect on your next billing date.
Downgrading may reduce your contact limit, user count, or feature access. Review the Plan Comparison to understand what changes.

Switch between monthly and annual billing

You can switch billing cycles when you modify your plan:
  • Monthly → Annual: Switch at any time. You are charged the annual amount upfront today, and a prorated credit is applied for any unused days on your current monthly cycle.
  • Annual → Monthly: The change takes effect at the end of your current annual period. No mid-year refund is issued.
To switch, go to Settings → Billing → Want to modify or cancel your subscription? → click Upgrade → toggle the Monthly / Annual switch. See Annual vs Monthly Billing for a full savings breakdown.

To update your payment method, go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods and add or remove a card.

View invoices and payment history

Go to Settings → Billing → Payments tab → Payment History to see all past invoices. Each invoice can be downloaded as a PDF. See Reading Your Invoice for a full breakdown of what appears on each invoice.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. A pause option is available that keeps your account in a limited read-only state at a reduced rate. Go to Settings → Billing → Want to modify or cancel your subscription? → Show More → Pause Plan. See Cancel or Downgrade for details.
HoopAI retries failed payments on a schedule over 21 days. If payment is not resolved, your account moves to a read-only state. See Payment Issues for the full retry schedule and how to fix a failed payment.
Your data is retained. However, if you exceed the lower plan’s contact or user limits after downgrading, you may lose access to features or need to archive records to stay within the new limits.
Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle starts. If you upgrade mid-cycle and then downgrade, the downgrade takes effect at the next billing date — no refund is issued for the current cycle.
Go to Settings → Billing → Billing Information and click Edit to update your address. Changes apply to future invoices. For past invoices, contact billing@hoopai.com.
