How to upgrade or downgrade

Go to billing

Navigate to Settings → Billing → Change Plan.

Select your new plan

Choose the higher tier you want to move to. Review the feature comparison to confirm it meets your needs.

Confirm and pay

You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle. The upgrade takes effect immediately.
When you upgrade, all new features and higher limits are available instantly. No data migration is needed.

What happens when you hit a limit

Depending on the type of limit, HoopAI handles it differently:

ContactsYou cannot add new contacts. Existing contacts remain accessible. Upgrade or remove contacts to continue adding.
UsersYou cannot invite new users. Remove a user or upgrade to add more.
WorkflowsExisting workflows continue running. You cannot create new ones until you upgrade or deactivate workflows.
Email sendsEmails continue sending. Overage charges apply at tiered rates.
Workflow executionsWorkflows continue executing. Overage charges apply per execution.
StorageYou cannot upload new files. Delete files or upgrade to add storage.
API callsAPI requests return 429 Too Many Requests. Retry after the rate limit window resets.
Set up usage alerts in Settings → Billing → Usage Dashboard to receive notifications at 80% and 100% of your limits before you hit them.

Yes. HoopAI offers a 14-day free trial for new accounts. If you are an existing customer, contact support to request a temporary trial upgrade to evaluate higher-tier features.
No data is deleted when you downgrade. However, if your usage exceeds the lower plan’s limits (e.g., too many contacts or workflows), you will need to reduce your usage to fit within the new plan’s limits. Features exclusive to higher tiers become unavailable.

No. Your entire subscription (base plan + user seats) follows a single billing cycle — either monthly or annual. Add-ons and usage charges are always billed monthly.
