HoopAI offers both monthly and annual billing. Annual billing locks in a discounted rate in exchange for paying upfront for 12 months — typically saving 15–17% compared to paying month-to-month.

Annual pricing is charged as a single upfront payment at the start of your billing year. Contact billing@hoopai.com or check Settings → Billing → Plan for current annual pricing.

How annual billing works

When you choose annual billing:
  1. You are charged the full annual amount upfront on your start date
  2. Your account is active for 12 months from that date
  3. At the end of 12 months, you are automatically renewed at the same annual rate unless you cancel first
  4. Usage-based charges (calls, SMS, AI, email overage) continue to be billed monthly from your wallet, separate from the annual subscription

Monthly vs annual: which is right for you?

Choose monthly if:

  • You are still evaluating HoopAI and not ready to commit
  • Your usage is seasonal or project-based
  • You want maximum flexibility to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime

Choose annual if:

  • You are actively using HoopAI as a core business tool
  • You want to lock in the lowest per-month rate
  • You prefer one predictable annual charge over 12 separate invoices
  • You want to simplify your accounting with a single annual software expense

Switching from monthly to annual

Go to your plan settings

Navigate to Settings → Billing → Plan.

Select Annual billing

Click Switch to Annual. You will see the discounted annual price and the prorated charge for switching mid-cycle.

Review and confirm

Review the amount. You’ll be charged today for the annual plan, minus any credit from your current monthly cycle’s unused days.

Annual billing is active

Your renewal date is set to 12 months from today. Future invoices will show the annual plan as a single line item.

Switching from annual to monthly

You can switch to monthly billing, but the change takes effect at the end of your current annual period — not immediately. You will not receive a refund for unused months on your annual plan. To schedule a switch to monthly:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Plan
  2. Click Switch to Monthly
  3. Confirm — your plan stays annual until the renewal date, then switches to monthly automatically

Cancelling an annual plan

If you cancel an annual plan:
  • You retain access through the end of your paid 12-month period
  • No partial refund is issued for unused months
  • Your data is retained for 90 days after access ends

Annual billing and add-ons

Add-ons (LC Phone, LC Email, AI features, etc.) are always billed monthly regardless of whether your base plan is monthly or annual. Switching to annual billing does not change how add-ons or usage charges are billed.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. You can upgrade at any time. You’ll be charged a prorated amount for the price difference between your current annual plan and the new one, for the remaining months in your annual period.
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current annual period. You cannot downgrade mid-year on an annual plan.
Your access continues until the end of the paid annual period. Annual plan fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.
Add-ons are billed monthly. Only the base subscription plan is available on an annual term.
Yes. A single invoice is generated when you are charged for the annual plan. It is available in Settings → Billing → Invoice History.
Yes. If you prefer to pay the annual amount via bank transfer instead of card, contact billing@hoopai.com to arrange it before your renewal date.
