Connect your TikTok account

Go to Settings > Integrations > TikTok Ads. Click Connect and log in with your TikTok Business account. Select the ad account to connect and grant permissions.

Create a lead form in TikTok Ads Manager

In TikTok Ads Manager, create a campaign with the Lead Generation objective. Build your lead form with the fields you want to capture — name, email, phone, and custom questions.

Map form fields

In Settings > Integrations > TikTok, click Form Field Mapping. Map each TikTok form field to the corresponding CRM contact field.

Publish and test

Publish your lead ad campaign. Use TikTok’s testing tools to submit a test lead and verify it appears in your CRM.

Connect TikTok Direct Messages (DMs) to manage conversations from TikTok directly in the HoopAI Conversations inbox.

Enable TikTok messaging

In the TikTok integration panel, enable the Messaging toggle for your connected account.

Verify in Conversations

Open Conversations and confirm that TikTok appears as a channel filter. Incoming TikTok DMs will appear alongside your other messaging channels.
TikTok messaging availability depends on your TikTok Business account type and region. Not all TikTok accounts support the messaging API.

Workflow triggers

Once TikTok is connected, you can use these workflow triggers:
  • TikTok Lead Ad submitted — fires when a new lead is captured through a TikTok Lead Ad form
  • TikTok message received — fires when a new DM is received from TikTok (if messaging is enabled)
Use these triggers to automate lead follow-up, assign contacts to pipelines, send welcome messages, or enroll contacts in nurture sequences.

Troubleshooting

Verify that form field mapping is complete. Check that the TikTok ad campaign is active and the lead form is published. Disconnect and reconnect the integration to refresh the token.
Confirm that the messaging toggle is enabled in the integration settings. Verify your TikTok Business account supports the messaging API. Check that permissions were fully granted during connection.
TikTok access tokens expire periodically. Reconnect by going to Settings > Integrations > TikTok and clicking Reconnect.
