The Facebook integration connects your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts to the HoopAI platform, enabling Lead Ads import, Messenger conversations, and ad reporting — all managed from a single dashboard.

Connecting a Facebook page

1

Open integrations

Navigate to Settings > Integrations and locate the Facebook integration card.
2

Click Connect

Click Connect next to Facebook. A Facebook login window opens.
3

Authenticate and grant permissions

Log in to the Facebook account that manages your business page. Grant all requested permissions — page management, messaging, leads access, and ads.
4

Select pages to connect

After authentication, a list of Facebook Pages you manage appears. Select the page(s) you want to connect and click Save.
5

Verify the connection

The connected page appears in the Facebook integration panel with a green status indicator.

Connecting multiple Facebook pages

You can connect more than one Facebook Page to the same account. Each page operates independently — Lead Ads, Messenger conversations, and form field mappings are configured per page. To add another page, click Connect Another Page in the Facebook integration panel and repeat the authentication process. Use the same Facebook login or a different one if different pages are managed by different Facebook accounts.

Facebook Lead Ads integration

Facebook Lead Ads capture contact information directly within Facebook — no landing page required. When connected, leads flow into your CRM automatically.
1

Create a Lead Ad in Facebook Ads Manager

Build your lead form in Facebook Ads Manager with the fields you want to capture (name, email, phone, custom questions).
2

Map form fields

In Settings > Integrations > Facebook, click Form Field Mapping for your connected page. Map each Facebook form field to the corresponding contact field in the CRM.
3

Test the integration

Use Facebook’s Lead Ads Testing Tool to submit a test lead. Verify the contact appears in your CRM within 1-2 minutes.
4

Set up automation

Create a workflow triggered by Form Submitted to automatically tag, assign, and follow up with new leads from Facebook.

Facebook domain verification

Domain verification proves to Facebook that you own the domain associated with your ads and pages. This is required for certain ad features and link sharing.
1

Open Facebook Business Settings

Go to your Facebook Business Settings and navigate to Brand Safety > Domains.
2

Add your domain

Enter your domain name and click Add.
3

Add the verification meta tag

Facebook provides a meta tag. Add it to your funnel or website’s header code in the HoopAI page builder under SEO / Tracking Code > Header.
4

Verify

Return to Facebook Business Settings and click Verify. The domain status changes to verified.

Troubleshooting

Facebook access tokens expire periodically. When this happens, the integration shows a disconnected or error status. Go to Settings > Integrations > Facebook, disconnect the page, and reconnect by authenticating again. This generates a fresh token.
Ensure you are logging in with the Facebook account that has admin access to the page. If you recently created the page, wait a few minutes and try again. Also confirm you granted all requested permissions during the OAuth flow — declining any permission can hide pages from the list.
Verify the following:
  • The correct Facebook Page is connected in Settings
  • Form field mapping is complete for all form fields
  • The Lead Ad campaign is active and the form is published
  • Test using Facebook’s Lead Ads Testing Tool to confirm the integration pipeline is working
If leads still do not appear, disconnect and reconnect the Facebook integration to refresh the connection.
Confirm that Messenger permissions were granted during the Facebook connection. Go to Settings > Integrations > Facebook and check that the connected page shows Messenger as enabled. If not, disconnect and reconnect with full permissions.
If the Facebook integration keeps disconnecting:
  • Check that your Facebook account is not restricted or flagged
  • Ensure the connected Facebook Page has not been unpublished or transferred
  • Verify that no other platform is overriding the page’s webhook subscriptions
  • Reconnect the integration and monitor for 24 hours
Only one platform connection can be active per Facebook Page at a time. If another team member connects the same page from a different account, the original connection may break. Coordinate with your team to ensure only one account connects each page.
